Tōtaranui

Tōtaranui Bay has some of the best stands of native bush left in the National Park and its golden beach and clear waters have seen it become a summer holiday favourite for New Zealanders seeking sun and sea. It is so popular that a ballot for summer camping spots is held every July by the Department of Conservation.

• Tōtaranui is part of the Golden Bay Ward. The Golden Bay Community Board provides a community voice
• The Tasman District Council Golden Bay Office is approximately 22 kilometres from Tōtaranui.
