A wide range of information about individual properties, including services, pipes and aerial photography, is available on http://topofthesouthmaps.co.nz.
Rates are set at 30 June each year so the data (capital value/ land value/ improvement/ rates etc.) reflects the factors as at 30 June. If you make changes to your property - for example, if you build a house on your property during the year - this will only impact your rates from the following July.
