Paton Road closure
We will be installing a new retaining wall along a section of Paton Road, which means there will be a 24/7 road closure between the Ranzau Road intersection and #186 Paton Road. Works will be completed over two stages. Stage 1 will begin Monday 15 June for up to one month. Stage 2 will then follow this in July and we have more details closer to then. Directly affected property access will be managed by the team on-site. Detour via Ranzau Road, Main Road Hope/SH6, and Aniseed Valley Road.
Riwaka-Sandy Bay Road closed
From Monday 13 April, for eight weeks, Riwaka-Sandy Bay Road (over the Mārahau Hill) will be closed for repair work following last year's storms. Residents can still travel to and from Mārahau by detouring via Kaiteriteri-Sandy Bay Road. Residents within the closure area will still have access to their properties with the assistance of our team on-site.
Cropp Place and Easby Park works
We will be upgrading the Cropp Place pump station and pipes. This will involve work along the Easby Park access track and within the Cropp Place cul-de-sac from Monday 30 March - Tuesday 30 June. Cropp Place from number 3 above will be closed between 7am and 6pm Monday - Friday, with access for residents only. Public access along the Easby Park access track will not be available during working hours, however you can still access the hills from the Easby Park side rather than via Cropp Place.
